Senior Advisory Sub-CommitteeAt its February 6, 2006 Regular Meeting, the Deltona City Commission approved Resolution No. 2006-09 which included the creation of the Parks & Recreation Senior Advisory Sub-Committee. This sub-committee meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 pm at Deltona City Hall, 1st Floor Kitchen, 2345 Providence Blvd. All interested residents and visitors are welcome to attend. This committee shall consist of 7-10 members who reside within the city limits of the City of Deltona. TERM OF OFFICE: Individuals appointed to this committee shall serve a term of one (1) year. OFFICERS: The Chairperson for this committee serves on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and is nominated by members of that board. The members of this committee shall elect a Vice Chair. The members serve in those positions for a period of one (1) year. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This advisory sub committee shall serve in an advisory capacity only to make recommendations to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board on senior projects, programs or activities to improve the well being of Deltona residents.
